I am Kim (MacPhee-Critz), a small town girl who grew up in Schoolcraft Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University. I earned my bachelors degree in art education and my masters degree in education.
After 10 years as a high school teacher, followed by working in the corporate world as an art director in Ann Arbor, then director of corporate training in Troy, I started my graphic design business.
I moved back to Western Michigan and decided to take the leap starting a small boutique, Wrapped in Gratitude, my mission was to teach workshops supporting others in personal and professional growth and have a retail space with inspiring books and items for self-care and caring for others.
In 2022, after an emotionally heavy few years personally, Healing Heartwork is where my heart and soul were guiding me. Light can come from the darkness of grief, I promise you.
Aside from facilitating workshops, my favorite place to be is escaping on Barton Lake, in beautiful Vicksburg Michigan, with my family, friends and our dog Fin.
When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate.
When life is bitter, say thank you and grow.
